Small Bathroom Remodel
No space is to small for us! For this project, the client desired a transformation of their small bathroom into a cozy, inviting space without replacing the existing floor or vanity. The goal was to incorporate warmer, earthy tones to create a soothing atmosphere along with black and gold accents to go with the existing hardware throughout the home. Key elements such as paint selection, lighting, and fixtures were vital to achieving this vision.
Design Approach:
- Color Palette:
- To create warmth, we chose a palette featuring soft, earthy tones such as warm beige and olive green. These colors harmonized with the existing flooring and vanity, bringing a natural, grounded feel to the space. We also opted to paint the vanity base white to make the space feel larger and bring more depth.
- Lighting:
- Lighting was critical in making the small space feel larger and more inviting. We installed warm LED lights to provide soft, flattering illumination. A modern but classic vanity light with a matte black finish complemented the earthy tones and added a touch of elegance.
- Fixtures:
- We selected fixtures that echoed the natural theme throughout the rest of the home, including a matte black faucet and matching towel bars and hooks. We also swapped out the existing cream outlet covers for detailed gold covers to bring more character to the space. The organic design of these fixtures added to the overall aesthetic, creating a cohesive look.
- Accents:
- To further enhance the cozy feel, we incorporated natural elements such as woven baskets, a wooden bath mat, and natural decor. These accents not only added texture and visual interest but also reinforced the earthy theme.
Results: The remodeled bathroom now exudes warmth and tranquility, perfectly aligning with the client's vision. The strategic use of color, lighting, and fixtures transformed the space without the need for major replacements. The cohesive design demonstrates how thoughtful details can elevate a small bathroom into a welcoming retreat.
